Democracy and democratic institutions were under severe pressure well before the novel Coronavirus appeared. Could the added burden of the pandemic break the back of democracy as we have known it? How worried should we be by governments proclaiming wartime powers and instituting new kinds of location and information tracking, all in the name of safety?
In this weeks episode, Gabriela Cuevas, Mexican Congresswoman and Inter-Parliamentary Union President, and Paula DiPerna, strategic environmental advisor and former U.S. congressional candidate, discuss the risk that our democracies could be another casualty of Covid-19—and what we should do about it.
Both Gaby and Paula have served as jurors for the Tällberg Eliasson Global Leadership Prize.

To me I the key is not to be concerned in the future with a traditional and old perspective.
We are towards a different Era ! The Digital Era. The Economy of the Industrial Power it’s being replaced with the Economy of Digital Power. I’m developing the educational system and philosophy to admit the change.
To me the key is to be concerned in the future with a different Proyect with an educational program and a philosophical argument that fixed to the Triumph of the Digital Era . Until now the Power belonged to the Industrial System. The Plan has changed. People aren’t prepared but many people may adapt to the change of Power. People from all around the world needs to grow up. We are in line for our Planet Development.
Will Democracy Survive Covid-19?
No!
Because all democratic systems, as we know them until now, have shown their limits and their unsustainability.
Also, classical democracies, based on radical capitalism and unrealistic socialism, have become obsolete and failing; which has caused cold wars of all forms (geopolitics, economics, control of natural energy resources and raw materials, control of information and communication technologies and technologies).
This provoked this new form of undeclared and controlled world war for the leadership of World Governance (confrontation between the bloc of supporters of the unipolar system and the bloc of supporters of the multipolar system).
In all this crisis of world governance and this generalized political anarchy, there are pragmatic and realistic solutions, unlike the post-world war years, since I myself participated, through the publication of my books, in the foundation and the conception of this new ideological vision on a New World Order which comes out of this anarchic order imposed by the fait accompli of the current situation of civil and military wars, pandemics and poverty.
I would like to have the chance to collaborate for the implementation of this New World Order.
