Henry González
Director of Green Climate Fund’s Private Sector Facility and Associate Fellow at the University of Oxford; Costa Rica and South Korea
Henry has over 20 years of professional experience across sustainability, impact investing, emerging markets, and political and economic development. He has worked across the private, public and social sectors leading organizations that contribute to reaching the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Henry is currently the Director of Green Climate Fund’s Private Sector Facility in South Korea. He is an Associate Fellow at Oxford University’s Saïd Business School where he directs the Oxford Fundamentals of Sustainable Investing Program. He is also a Lead Financial Sector Consultant to CGAP, the World Bank-housed think tank dedicated to financial inclusion. Previously, he worked for responsAbility Investments AG, Morgan Stanley, the United Nations Development Program and the Government of Costa Rica. He holds an MBA from the University of Oxford (Skoll Scholar), an MPA from Harvard University (Fulbright Scholar) and a BA in Political Science from the University of Costa Rica.
