Rafael Yuste, a professor of biological sciences at Columbia University and a 2018 Tällberg/Eliasson Global Leader speaks with Alan Stoga, the Tällberg Foundation’s chairman about recent and prospective progress in neuroscience.
They discuss such questions as could our evolving understanding of the human brain lead to a new Renaissance? What are the implications of this new knowledge? How do we protect each individual’s neural identity?
1. Before talking about renaissance one has first to understand the mechanism of his mind and the whole chemistry of his thoughts.
2. After that he has to use his mind in a scientific way.
3. He has to learn how to observe his mind in order that which is going to take place beyond his mind can be observed.
4. The learning of this observation is a necessary equipment for the non-mental and non-cerebral enquiry.
5. This sustained observation will result in a qualitatively new awareness with which one can live and move in live.
Leadership with human skills or can be say with humanity.
