BUILDING RESILIENT SOCIETIES ONE MUSHROOM AT A TIME

Chido Govera is a social entrepreneur, farmer, campaigner, educator, and the Founder of The Future of Hope Foundation.

Sitawa Namwalie is a 2022 member of the Prize pre-jury and an award-winning Kenyan poet, playwright and performer who previously worked with the United Nations and the World Bank. She will talk with Chido about her commitment to ending poverty at the grassroots level in Africa through food security.

HELPING VENEZUELAN REFUGEES LIVE BETTER LIVES

Lala Lovera is the Founder of the Fundación Comparte Por Una Vida and is committed to implementing solutions that contribute to the stabilization of Venezuelan refugees in Colombia and their potential.

Eduardo Amadeo is a former member of the Prize jury and has served Argentina in many capacities, most recently (2015-19) as an elected member of the National Congress, representing Buenos Aires as a member of the Propuesta Republicana formed by President Macri. He will interview Lala about her work towards ending the cycle of malnourishment of migrant families affected by the Venezuelan crisis.

CHANGING THE LIVES OF BLIND CHILDREN, ONE FOOTBALL AT A TIME

Elias Mastoras is the Founder of Youthorama and the #ABallforAll campaign, which set a goal to travel to all corners of the earth to distribute child-sized audible soccer balls that allow blind children not only to play, but also to participate more fully in their communities.

Nithya Ramanathan is a 2020 Winner of the Prize and the Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder of Nexleaf Analytics, a tech non-profit dedicated to preserving human life and protecting our planet. She’ll talk with Elias about reimagining football to include visually impaired kids.

Christian Ntizimira, 2021 Winner of the Tällberg-SNF-Eliasson Global Leadership Prize in the Emerging Leader Category, Founder and Executive Director of the African Center for Research on End-of-Life Care (ACREOL).

Celina de Sola, member of the 2022 Prize jury, Co-founder and VP of programs at Glasswing, a community-based education and public health initiative bringing together government, private sector, and civil society.
